| The Volante Security team specialises in the
forensic analysis and investigation of all types of digital assets
and their misuse, for corporate clients. This includes electronic
document discovery, recovering deleted or hidden evidence as well
as acquisition and analysis of digital evidence and providing
expert opinion on these services. All investigations are accompanied
by elaborate reports documenting details of the incident and include
recommendations in the form of controls and / or system changes
that will prevent similar future incidents.
This service is complemented by customised training for internal
staff to identify illegal or unauthorised system intrusions, including
intentional breaches as well as fraudulent activities. Accordingly,
investigations are conducted. This training highlights the importance
of developing a forensic plan and the use of proper processes
throughout investigation. This ensures that necessary capability
is developed and designated staff is well equipped with the knowledge
to handle evidence so that it will be admissible in court.
We have acknowledged experts in this area. From the authoring
of HB 171 – IT Evidence Management standard, provision of
expert opinion in a number of court cases involving computer related
crime, expertise in ICT forensic investigations, preparing evidence
for civil litigation and undertaking extensive ICT forensic training.
